Luka Matthias Gruber

Luka Matthias Gruber is an artist working with mixed media, combining acrylic, oil, spray paint, stencils, and collaged newspaper to create works that move between abstraction and figurative expression. His practice explores inner worlds, translating thought and emotion into layered compositions.

Having known Luka for years, I understood his artistic vision when approaching this project. The challenge was developing a visual identity and website that could hold the same tension present in his work: spontaneous yet deliberate, raw yet refined.

The identity system is flexible enough to evolve with his practice while maintaining a strong presence. Typography and color choices reflect the energy of his studio work. The website allows his imagery to command attention while giving viewers space to absorb each piece. The result is a digital presence that feels as considered and authentic as Luka's paintings themselves.
